Silhouette Project from The Seasoned Homemaker

Standard

I learn something new every day with my Silhouette machine.  Today I learned four things:

1.  You don’t have to own a Silhouette machine to start creating.  You can download the Silhouette Studio software free from the Silhouette site.  http://www.silhouetteamerica.com/software/silhouette-studio  – see the neat project below.

2.  You can buy stencil paper to use with your machine when you do purchase one.

3.  Your projects could involve using stencils on fabric (using Annie Sloan paint, of course).  Here’s a link to my favorite supplier of Annie Sloan – NettieSuze Home Decor

4.  Until you get your own machine, you can design a stencil you’d like to have and send the design to me.  I can purchase the paper, cut it out, and mail it to you…..all for the price of the paper, labor, and postage.  A win, win for both of us!  Contact me for more info.

Here’s a link to how one person creates stencils using the Silhouette software.  http://www.layoutaday.com/making-stencils-on-your-silhouette/

Do a Google search “”create stencils using Silhouette software” for many more ideas.
