You had me at hello.

Standard

I was lying on my couch earlier, admiring my Annie Sloan painted rug  and texting my friend, Cindy.  She said she had found a new project for me that she had seen on Pinterest.  Of course, I had to go find the Pinterest link immediately and told her….I’ll bet I can do that in 15 minutes.  I just cut it out of white contact paper on my Silhouette Portrait Machine, transferred it to clear contact paper, and smoothed it out on my door! It did take a bit longer than 15 minutes….more like 30 minutes because I had to find the same cute font “Little Days”, which was a free font, by the way, and then realized I had to quickly  learn how to “weld” with my Silhouette Portrait Machine.

The snowflakes may be a bad omen for Midwest right now, but I still like them on the door for the time being.  Maybe I’ll make the burlap wreath next (see the tutorial below).

Here’s the link to the website found on Pinterest.  There is even a tutorial for a cute burlap wreath.

For those with Silhouette machines, here’s the hello sign studio file I made.  Enjoy the free download!
